Qualifications

I have been tutoring for 10 years for high school and college students and have had a good deal of succes at both levels. I have tutored succesfully for the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I have taken classes in a wide variety of subjects with most emphasis in chemistry, humanities, biology, physics (limited), greek, german, math, etc. I have done well in all my classes and am very good at teaching students how to study.

Comments

The majority of my tutoring has been in math and sciences, but I also give writing workshops to students to help improve their essay writing. I am very patient and encouraging. Instead of just answering questions the student brings, I like to teach him/her processes on how to answer such questions so that they may improve their learning skills. My aim is not to merely help my students reach their goals in a course, but to teach them ways to study and think that will help them in future courses as well.
