Qualifications

I was an assistant professor of both English and writing skills for eleven years. I have extensive experience tutoring in English literature, grammar and syntax, and English as a Second Language, for which I co-wrote a textbook. I have taught students from all areas of the world, and also I have taught in extended education programs for adults at night. In addition, for many years I have worked in high tech, and have a great awareness and experience in the ways in which writing is used in business environments.

I have a flexible style, believing that the creative skills of a student are always present, and that we all have a capacity to learn a subject well with the right guidance. I enjoy the process of teaching people to find the key that unlocks understanding of concepts, and to help them discover their own inherent and valuable abilities in writing and interpreting language and literature.
