$40 - 45/hour depending on distance from my home in El Monte or my work in Glendale. I canm send you my rates compared to SCORE learning Center. You will find that my rates are extremely affordable and offer one-on-one learning for 1 hour compared to SCORE's 50 minutes sessions (primarily unsupervised on a computer)

I typically tutor in house with a parent present or at a library with a parent present.

This fee depends on the subject and length of time online. However, I am also willing to work my fax machine if necessary.

Qualifications

I have 10 years experience as a tutor. I have tutored students from 1st grade through 12th grade. I am proficient in many subjects. I specialize in tutoring students attending Catholic/Christian schools.

I believe that each student has a distinct learning style (visual, audio, etc), therefore I work with each student to determine which style works best for them. I also try to apply homework to hobbies or interests when appropriate (i.e. physics and sports). Tutoring is a terrific way to improve grades or it can be enrichment to what is being learned in the classroom. Either way -- Let me assist you in helping your children reach their fullest potential.
