Personal Statement

I've been tutoring everything from first grade reading to disadvantaged youths through advanced mathematics, up to and beyond calculus, for a few years. I have been certified by the CRLA (College Reading & Learning Association) as a tutor. Math is my specialty. I tutor almost all the Freshman and Sophomore level college math classes, and a lot of Junior level math classes as well. Obviously, I tutor all the High School and Elementary Math classes. I also tutor reading. I have tutored legal adults with a 3rd grade reading level so they could obtain their coveted GED. I am very patient. And now for the fine print: you can pay by cash or check. Minutes are rounded to the nearest quarter hour (up or down, whichever is closest when we finish) in calculating cost. I travel up to 20 miles from either of two locations: 1. Northridge/Winnetka & 2. Palmdale/Lancaster. I only have a limited number of sessions per week so please make your reservations a little in advance, so I can arrange my schedule efficiently.
