I personally think that the root cause for poor performance in a subject is due to the lack of proper understanding of fundamental concepts. As a tutor for 4 years, I have always emphasized more on strengthening the student’s fundamental concepts. I try to make subjects as interesting as possible by explaining and solving the problem by citing a practical example.
