Being the youngest of 5 children with 2 deaf brothers, I was signing before I ever spoke! I started the first Sign Language Class & Deaf Supportive Services on the campus of Grossmont Community College in San Diego, CA. I was instrumental in coordinating the first Deaf Awareness Workshop in San Diego which is now an annual event. I have been a News Cast Interpreter (long before Closed Captioned TV became available).
