I have an extensive science research background and am comfortable with most science subjects, except maybe physics. My expertise is in cell, molecular and developmental biology, though I take an integrated approach to unifying themes and concepts across various content areas. I’m not a big fan of memorizing or teaching to the test and believe students gain far more in understanding the “why” of what they are learning and in being able to apply what they have learned (higher order thinking ski
