I have worked with individuals that have intellectual disabilities for 8 years. I taught in self-contained classrooms for 6 years primarily at the high school setting; however during summer school I worked with all grade levels. I also have 2 years experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.I have bachelor’s degrees in both Special Education and Elementary Education from New Mexico State University.
