I have a K-8 language arts teacher’s certificate with a minor in education. I have substitute taught for more than three full years, have tutored at a Sylvan Learning Center, volunteered bi-weekly in my daughter’s school as a Watchdog Dad and currently work at Burton Elementary during summer school. Before teaching, I was a broadcast journalist and a Navy Journalist.
