Being a Social Studies Tutor would allow me the opportunity to teach young minds about the fascinating world of history. Growing up, I always had a strong interest in history and seeking to understand why certain choices were made and how those choices affected citizens. I realized that as a Supplemental Instruction Leader I also enjoyed teaching history to young minds. Helping students understand the importance of history and how it has shaped our country is essential to an adolescence’s mind
