I am certified to teach elementary grades, first through eighth. I wanted to help struggling readers. Earning my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Reading made me hungry to learn more of the techniques to teach reading. So, I enrolled in the doctorate program of a school for reading. After two years of teaching reading, I returned to my home state to teach for a couple of years at the college level.I worked for colleges as a Reading Tutor and as a Reading Professor.
