Born and raised in Cairo Egypt, I earned my BS at the age of 22. I then conducted research at Stuttgart-Hohenheim University in Germany for 10 years, culminating in an MS and Doctorate. I came to the U.S. in the 80’s, taught at University of Delaware, loved Delaware, and stayed as a State Chemist.I have taught several levels of Arabic, and translated (Arabic=German=English).
