My tutoring style involves coaching students into reaching the answers on their own. For example, if they struggle to find the correct equation, I teach them how to locate resources and how to look at the variables present to select the best way to solve a problem. After working through the problem together, I will give each student a similar problem to solve on his or her own (helping as needed) until he or she can solve it and understand how to solve similar problems in the future.
