As a PhD in the field of education and as an elementary school teacher for more than 10 years I feel I have a lot to offer. My background in education began with teaching at an inner-city charter school in Phoenix, Arizona, that allowed me the opportunity to work with a diverse student population. This diverse student population allowed me to work with students from across the world, with the heaviest concentration of students coming from Mexico. Working with students from Mexico intrigued me en
