Jeannie V. from Brooklyn, NY

I teach creative writing to undergraduates at New York University where I am a full-time graduate student on full scholarship. My writing has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, The Believer, The Times Literary Supplement, Tin House, and elsewhere. I worked as a magazine editor for several years prior to graduate school. I recently received a Hertog Fellowship in Creative Nonfiction, and have received awards in poetry and fiction as well.
