I have been teaching in special education for 20 years. I have taught students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, Autism, and learning disabilities in elementary, middle, and high school. I was trained in the UCLA Young Autism program in 1992 while receiving my Bachelor degree in Special Education. Since that time I have taught at the Nassau Services for the Autistic in Long Island, New York, I also worked for Georgia’s Early Intervention Program Babies Can’t Wait, and in various
