I have been a middle school math teacher for nine years. I enjoy teaching math because of the logic behind it. I also chose math because I did not like the way so many teachers were showing students how to understand. I do not like making my students memorize rules just to regurgitate them. I ensure that my students understand why things work the way they do. This ensure better comprehension and long term memory.I have been privately tutoring off and on during my entire teaching career.
