I am currently enrolled in the MFA Writing Program at The New School. Each week, we are required to submit a poem to our workshop class and also revise and critique the poems of our peers. I’ve discovered that the entire workshop process is vital to becoming a good writer. Not only is the feedback from my peers helpful, but I often find that the critiques that I am making on my fellow writers’ poems also apply to my own writing.My passion has always been for poetry and I have a love for t
