I only tutor in French. I think it’s important to put the language in its context, and not just teach a string of words or rules of grammar. I use visuals and interactive techniques to teach the language. The goal of most people who want to learn a language is to learn to communicate on basic things, not to have a lengthy conversation with the locals.
