I grew up in a family of educators, so you could say that teaching is the family business. My own experience includes more than 15 years helping students with music. I have taught at every level, from the ages of 4 to 72, beginner to professional, and elementary school through college and beyond. I am also an active professional performer. I compose for and lead my own band, and I have shared the stage with many luminaries of the jazz world, such as Danilo Perez, George Garzone, James Willia
